Ball screw lock nut can easily and precisely secure the screw shaft and bearing. It features an anti-loosening mechanism composed of an internal hex head set screw and a mounting plate, which prevents the locking nut from loosening and ensures a firm connection. Locknuts are used for ball screws, spindles and other applications requiring axial locking and positioning.
The NRA series is made from C45 material, while the NR/NF and NK series use 42CrMo material.
All lock nut threads in the HZMotion series are ISO 4H grade.
There is no fundamental difference in their applications. The NF-type set screw is inclined, with the locking position nearly aligned with the end face. The NR-type set screw is radial, with the locking position located in the middle of the nut’s axial length. When the lock nut has a recessed structure for locking, the NF-type allows easier tightening of the set screw.
