Precautions for Bearing Housing Installation and Use

  1. Support units are pre-filled with grease; no additional lubrication is required before use.
  2. Keep the support units clean during installation and operation. Prevent dust and debris from entering the housings. Use protective measures if necessary.
  3. Do not disassemble the fixed-end support units, as this will compromise the preload condition.
  4. When inserting ball screw, carefully protect the sealing lip to avoid damage or deformation.
  5. For fixed-end support units, the axial locking nut should apply an appropriate amount of pressure when tightening the bearing onto the screw. For DF-type bearing arrangements, excessive tightening may reduce the preload between the bearings.
  6. Radial set screws on the axial locking nut must be tightened after installation is confirmed. Apply thread-locking adhesive if necessary.
  7. Under no circumstances should forced installation be performed.
