It is understood that in order to enhance the important role of talents in leading the industrial transformation and upgrading, our province has optimized and expanded the Taishan Scholars Project into the Taishan Scholars Project and the Taishan Industry Leading Talent Project. According to the plan, the Taishan Industry Leading Talent Project introduces and trains 1,000 "high-precision and cutting-edge" industry leading talents at home and abroad, and gathers about 1,000 industrial talent teams. Each leading talent can receive 500,000 yuan to 5 million yuan of funding from the provincial government.
In the selection, the whole process is strictly controlled, and it is better to have a shortage than an indiscriminate. 749 people declared, and 200 people were eliminated in just one link of qualification review. The evaluation and comprehensive demonstration are all entrusted to experts from outside the province to serve as judges, which ensures the openness and fairness of the evaluation work. Through this selection, 897 industrial talents have been gathered in the mode of "leading talents + innovation team", 217 domestic "985" and "211" universities and 52 scientific research institutes have been attracted to work in our province, and 68 overseas high-level talents have brought projects to Shandong for innovation and entrepreneurship, driving 190 high-tech industry projects, involving more than 260 key common technology research and development, and a large number of high-level talents have accelerated the front-line agglomeration of industrial transformation and development in our province!
